After the verdict, the jurors told a court officer that they did not want to discuss the case with anyone.
"When the trial was over, the jurors came down and told me, as people do, that they felt for me," she says.
Then the juror told the judge that he did not raise his hand.
"I'm a nervous wreck," one potential juror told the judge yesterday.
The juror told the judge in a phone call yesterday that his wife had a boy and that he could return today.
"Remember, it's not about being 100 percent," one juror told the group.
"I can make it," the potential juror, a white woman in her 60's, told him.
"She went running down the hall screaming, yelling out loud," another juror told the judge.
"Well, I need to make some money this week," the juror told the judge in response to the judge's question about the nature of the problem.
"It was almost as if she were talking about a complete stranger," another juror told me.
