The red whip snake or collared dwarf racer (Platyceps collaris) is a species of snake in the Colubridae family.

Masticophis is a genus of colubrid snakes, commonly referred to as whip snakes or coachwhips, which are endemic to the Americas.

Among its most conspicuous species are the hardim or starred agama, the European glass lizard, the common chameleon, and the black whip snake.

The whip snake was so called from its appearance; but the old myth that it could whip a man painfully is false.

C. demansiae - Yellow faced whip snake (Demansia psammophis)

C. zacapensis - Neotropical whip snake (Masticophis mentovarius)

The yellow faced whip snake, brown snake and the red bellied black snake have also been sighted in the park.

Among the variety of reptiles some protected species are Aesculapian snake, green whip snake, and tortoise.
