In 1933, the village was sold the Bradford Property Trust.
No longer able to provide the town with goods, the village was sold into private hands in early 19th century.
The oldest two villages were sold, as they could not be expanded and brought into line with the other villages.
Together with Warthausen, the village was sold to the house of Habsburg in 1331.
In 1563, the village was sold to the House of Wettin.
The village was sold to the descendants of leaseholders in 1835.
Today, the village has been sectioned off and sold for retail and housing purposes.
In the year 1426 the village was sold for 300 parish fines.
As to whether the village was further sold or pledged, nothing is known.
In 1919, the village was sold by the Pitt-Rivers estate, which had owned it.
