The village was annexed by the City of Lethbridge in 1913.
The city grew in size, when between 1928 and 1934, several local settlements and villages were annexed.
In 1958 the adjacent village of Pasichna was annexed to the city.

On the 1st September 2010 the village was annexed by Weißenfels.
