One of the great joys of attending an overstuffed, varied and inventive music festival is also one of the great frustrations: you never know when a truly enlightening and memorable moment may occur.

My own view is that the project will be truly enlightening about the molecular structure of the human body and brain, and that this knowledge alone is exciting enough to justify the programme.
