Plagge's efforts are corroborated by survivor testimony, historical documents found in Germany, and Plagge's own testimony found in a letter he wrote in 1957, a year before his death.

Audiovisual and GPS documentation projects are in progress, recording and substantiating survivor testimony and recording the Gacaca trial process.
