Opening in 2001, the school is a senior secondary campus which accepts students from the Perth metropolitan region.
It was opened in 1998 as the fourth secondary campus for Toowoomba's youth.
The secondary campus (middle and high school) opened in 2000.
The secondary campus has several buildings in the front which are numbered from 1, the central administrator office and Cougar Store, to building 5.
