Opening in 2001, the school is a senior secondary campus which accepts students from the Perth metropolitan region.

It was opened in 1998 as the fourth secondary campus for Toowoomba's youth.

The secondary campus (middle and high school) opened in 2000.

The secondary campus has several buildings in the front which are numbered from 1, the central administrator office and Cougar Store, to building 5.

The secondary campus, serving grades 7 through 12, was obtained in 2001, from Central Baptist Church.

The high school program was first established in 1994 on the main campus, before moving to the secondary campus in 2001.

In 2004, an renovtion/addition project was completed adding a middle school to the secondary campus.

There are two gyms on the secondary campus.

The two buildings in the secondary campus are referred to as Phase 1 and Phase 2.
