The goal of the opportunity management funnel is to eliminate weak or bad ideas before money or resources are contributed to realize these opportunities.

The necessary infrastructure does not currently exist to realize these opportunities.

To realise these opportunities we need more effective international and Somali leadership and a more coordinated approach focused on actions.

The BRC sought to achieve a realistic, community-based, consensus vision for realizing these opportunities.
