Pupils will study it for at least a year and can choose to either continue or learn another language.

Older pupils usually choose to board as many go on to independent boarding schools.

In the sixth form, pupils again choose what they wish to study.

The pupils also choose other subjects to add to this core.

The pupils will choose a total of six additional subjects and decide whether they want to study them at the basic or professional level.

Sometimes pupils choose more than two subjects, which can result in multiple profiles.
