"I can understand these women need to make a living," one proprietor said.

While some have not stayed for long, the new proprietors say anything is an improvement.

"It can easily age for over five years," the proprietors say.

"You guys had better keep out of sight," the proprietor said.

"I have not seen him in several days," the proprietor said with a shrug.

"Sit down and relax," the proprietor said with a big smile.

The prices seemed to agree with what the proprietor had said.

"I'll be getting a hundred pair in Monday afternoon," the proprietor said.

You know," the proprietor said, "the thing I like most about living out here is that there isn't any real crime.

The proprietors have said "no" to many proposals concerning the green.
