The highest property tax relief in Pennsylvania went to the residents of Chester Upland School District of Delaware County who received $632 per approved homestead.
In 2010 and 2009, the highest property tax relief in Allegheny County goes to Duquesne City School District at $348.
Since the accelerated property tax relief will go mostly to districts in the suburbs and upstate, the Legislature may well want to improve the school aid formulas even further.
