Since 2009 all optometrists wanting to be members have had to write a professional exam.

The changes will include "a professional exam for candidates, with psychological clarifications whenever necessary," he said.

Sponsorship through professional exams will also be available.

The membership eligibility bestowed may be subject to completion of professional exams.

"Physical and psycho as soon as we like; professional exams waived."

Completion of professional exams is no longer a prerequisite for application although it can still be helpful during the rigorous interview process.

After completing the 5th year they take a professional exam in music and get their qualifications as musicians.

They just wanted to make a quick buck without having to go through a graduate program and then a rigorous professional exam.

The association in 2009 passed a resolution mandating all optometrists wanting to be members to write a professional exam.
