"One of the things that they need is a deal on energy," the President added.

But the President added that no selection had yet been made.

"I'd take him to representative groups and people all over the state," the President added.

The President added that he would also want to know "exactly what our financial responsibilities were."

"The politics of personal destruction has to stop here," the President added.
