In the center, there are electronic piano labs, five organs, more than fifty practice rooms, faculty studios, the Music Library, and the Center for Music Technology.

The WHS music courses include wind ensemble, percussion ensemble, orchestra, jazz band, guitar, choir, and piano lab.

The school has an outdoor basketball court, soccer field, art room and piano lab for extracurricular activities.

The department is based in Bates Hall which also has practice rooms and a piano lab.

Classes available to instrumental music majors include orchestra, wind ensemble, string orchestra, chamber music ensembles, various jazz bands, music/jazz theory, music history, piano lab.

Other classes include: music theory, piano lab, music history, solfeggio, eurhythmics, Studio Class, and the creative music technology class.

Students can participate in activities such as band, jazz band, choir, theater arts and piano lab.

The Music department's piano lab is located on the second floor and practice rooms are located in the basement and on the first floor.

The music department is home to private recording studios, a piano lab, and two large practice halls.

The performing arts building was designed to look like a piano, complete with black and white tiles on the floor in the piano lab.
