Launching the new vintage with a party under the lake?
I used to invite my friends around for tastings of each new vintage.
Since the newest vintage out is young - usually two years old - plenty of older vintages are offered as well.
The new vintage will be good but not as good as 1991.
As a new vintage is created each year, each differs slightly and has its own character.
So as a general rule it makes sense to look in stores for newer vintages.
A report on the new vintage should be simple but, like many things about wine, it tends to get complicated.
More grapes grow and a new vintage is born, but there will never be time to taste every wine.
The new '91 vintage isn't here till late May, but will be hard to beat at £3.99.
And drink it also in hope for the new vintage.
