"We will see a contraction of the negative surprises," he said.

"This season, it has mostly been negative surprises," he said.

"We're not going to have anywhere near the negative surprises we've had," he said.

The surprise may be that there are no negative surprises.

"As a business cycle gets old we are vulnerable to negative surprises," she said.

"It would be a negative surprise if they say things are getting worse."

"But I also believe we have still some surprises to come, negative and positive."

Bart also said the line in negative and general surprise.

"There were several negative surprises, with very little warning, and here we have a quarter that is way off the mark."

Analysts said the bank had a solid quarter, with no negative surprises.
