The village was incorporated into the borough of Cambridgeboro in 1866.

It was incorporated into the new borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro.

From that date it was incorporated into the borough of Garz.

Peartree Green was incorporated into the borough of Southampton in 1920.

Benzingerode has been a village incorporated into the borough of Wernigerode since 1 April 1993.

However the town is not listed in later reports, and was subsequently incorporated into the borough of Belfast.
