The bulk of the issue consists of $262 million worth of first-mortgage bonds due on March 15, 2022.

The remaining $52 million were sold as first-mortgage bonds with a maturity of March 15, 2002.

In 1987, the utility, which provides gas and electric service to about 75 percent of the state's population, sold $75 million in five-year first-mortgage bonds.

Georgia Power Co., up to $250 million of first-mortgage bonds, either 30- or 40-year maturity.

Florida Power Corp., $150 million in first-mortgage bonds.

Half the issue consists of 7 1/4 percent seven-year noncallable first-mortgage bonds.

The $200 million worth of 12-year first-mortgage bonds were priced at $100, or par, to yield 9 5/8 percent.

Genesis Health Ventures, $25 million of first-mortgage bonds due in 2007.

The remaining $200 million were offered as 30-year first-mortgage bonds maturing July 15, 2022.
