The Windward Islands team is the least successful of the six West Indian first class teams, having failed to win a first-class title and with three one-day titles in 33 attempts.

Similarly, the uneven cast did offer a first-class title figure in the Dutch baritone John Brocheler, who has a slightly woolly but still firmly produced voice (reminiscent of Bernd Weikl's) and who acted conscientiously.

The Leeward Islands has won a total of ten domestic titles - four in first class cricket and six in one-day cricket, but their last title was in 1997-98 when they won the double (although the first-class title was shared with Guyana).
