The Senior School building was extended to include an extra six classrooms in 2004.

The annex will also house five extra classrooms and a lecture theatre.

The class of 1970, with 715 students graduating was the largest to date and, by then, extra classrooms were needed.

A gymnasium and extra classrooms were added to the school in 1950.

As space is limited, parents had offered to raise up to £10,000 to provide an extra classroom in the playground.

"We worry about where school districts will find the extra classrooms and money needed for space, staff and support services," he said.

All three schools, elementary, middle and high school, are located in one building with extra portable classrooms.

The district currently has 3,700 students, and according to projections, it will need an extra 29 classrooms by 1999.

Wooden huts were built at the back of the school to create extra classrooms.

Large scale building work to extend the front of the main entrance and add extra classrooms began in summer 2009.
