A $4,500 annual membership fee entitles members to the use of boats 30 feet and under, seven days a week.

A $3,500 membership entitles members to weekday-only use of the smaller boats.

Besides all this, the dues of $13 entitle members to laminated club cards and certificates.

Membership in this grade does not entitle members to supporters.

Joining also entitles members to various benefits.

"When I was hired a year ago, there were 47 book groups registered with the shop, which entitled members to a discount on their books," she said.

Industry bodies also have close affiliations entitling members to many discounts and offers.

For $50, one can join the Columbus Club, which entitles members to admission to the show and access to a private dining area.
