Prior to her legislative service, Winston was the executive director of the St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce from 1988-1996.

He was director of the Caracas Stock Exchange and Caracas Chamber of Commerce.

He was also a director of the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce.

Former New Zealand Hockey captain, Jamie Smith, is director of Commerce at Avondale College.

Vince served as a city councilmen and on the board of directors of the Greater Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce.
