Walter B. Melvin Architect of Manhattan designed the renovation.
The architectural firm AECOM has been selected and awarded a contract to design the renovation.
The Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, who designed the original renovation of the building, also designed the first expansion.
Joseph Sultan designed the renovation with Giorgio Cavaglieri.
They designed the renovation themselves, serving as contractors.
Practicing what it teaches, the school set an earth-friendly example in designing the $23 million renovation of the buildings, formerly a 20th Century Fox studio and headquarters.
"Usonia was avant-garde and now it's concerned with stasis," said Peter Gluck, the Manhattan architect who designed the renovation.
Redstone Architects designed the renovation for the building into office space in 1984.
"So we created a work of unambiguously modern architecture," said James Stewart Polshek, whose firm designed the renovation.
OCV Architects of Manhattan are designing the renovation.
