Upon completion of the yard period on 13 August 1945, she departed for Pearl Harbor.

Arriving the 22d, she embarked additional marines and departed the next day for Pearl Harbor where she arrived 4 April.

On the 25th, she departed the Marshalls for Pearl Harbor and overhaul.

These completed, she departed for Pearl Harbor.

Then the destroyer departed 26 October for Pearl Harbor, arriving 1 November.

Next day she departed for Pearl Harbor, where she arrived 8 June.

On 18 October, she departed the latter for Pearl Harbor and a return to duty with the 1st Fleet.

McClelland departed the west coast for Pearl Harbor on 11 December 1944.

Philip proceeded to Yokosuka, and departed 2 November for Pearl Harbor.

On 27 June, she departed for Pearl Harbor, arriving on 3 July.
