The destroyer departed San Pedro Bay on 2 January 1945 and joined her unit in Leyte Gulf the following day.

She departed San Francisco Bay 20 January 1945 and joined TF 58 at Ulithi on 7 February.

Robinson departed San Pedro Bay on 5 August 1945, and arrived at Ulithi, 7 August 1945.

She departed San Francisco Bay on 31 March and headed for the Hawaiian Islands.

Departing San Francisco Bay 13 November 1943, Megrez headed for Micronesia.

Upon the completion of dock trials, she departed San Francisco Bay on 17 April in a convoy bound for the Panama Canal Zone.

Following repairs, she loaded fleet issue stores at the Oakland Naval Supply depot and departed San Francisco Bay on 19 July 1945.

After a brief stay, she departed San Pedro Bay on 2 January 1945, for the operations in the Lingayen Gulf.

On 2 January 1945, the minesweeper once again departed San Pedro Bay - this time to participate in the initial invasion of Luzon.

She departed San Francisco Bay on 18 October 1945 for the east coast, arriving Norfolk, Virginia, on 7 November.
