I knew what a cop said to his wife as he left for work.
But why hadn't the cops said so in the first place?
And then that cop said something about your being out.
The cop might have said something but he couldn't hear it.
"We got a couple of guys in the house across the street," the cop said.
The cop that found me said it had been on the floor.
"I can understand that," the cop said as he turned to go back into the room.
"I know a little about those things myself," the cop said.
The cops said they thought the boys had a gun.
"We need to talk," was all the black cop would say when I reached him.
