If not, add another 1/2 cup water and continue to cook until they are.
Reduce to a simmer, and continue to cook for another 4 to 5 minutes.
Reduce the heat to 375 degrees and continue to cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
If it is too tough, add more stock and continue to cook until done.
Reduce the heat and continue to cook 2 minutes more.
Add more oil as necessary and continue to cook until all the batter is used up.
