After completing a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in psychology at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center, Nayman earned her masters degree in English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University in New York, in 1990.

Dr. Brandstetter completed his internship and residency at New York HospitalCornell University Medical Center and a clinical and research fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Massachusetts General HospitalHarvard Medical School, where he received the 1981 Fellowship Teaching Award.

"THE idea was to treat people who can't afford private care in a full-service office with a humane atmosphere," said Anthony Mallen, a designer who recently completed the decoration of a 7,000-square-foot AIDS treatment center at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.

In June she completed a residency in neurology at New York Weill Cornell Center.

The bride, 32, will complete a fellowship in hematology and oncology at New York University Medical Center next month.

Dr. Cohen is a vascular surgeon having completed his residency in surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and vascular surgery fellowship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital at Harvard Medical School in Boston.

The bridegroom, 33, completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology in June at New York University Medical Center and is to start a fellowship in transfusion medicine this month at the New York Blood Center.

Dr. MacGowan, 29, completed a residency in neurology in June at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in New York.

She trained in clinical psychology at Veterans Administration hospitals and clinics in Montrose, N.Y., and the Bronx, interned at Bronx Hospital and completed her training as a fellow of psychiatry at Bellevue Hospital and New York Medical College-Metropolitan Hospital Center.

After serving two years as the Surgeon General at the base hospital at Offut Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska, Stelzer completed residencies at Roosevelt Hospital and New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, both in New York City.
