The snorting, pavement-pawing, 11-foot-tall, 7,000-pound, bronze "Charging Bull," which has been displayed since 1989 in Bowling Green on lower Broadway, is being offered for sale by its sculptor and owner, Arturo Di Modica.

The cover featured a new and iconic illustration by V For Vendetta artist David Lloyd pitting his seminal character V against the Wall Street Charging Bull.

'Charging Bull', then, shows an aggressive or even belligerent force on the move, but unpredictably.

It consists of two 90-feet tall fighting bronze horses by artist Arturo DiModica, creator of the Wall Street "Charging Bull."

In 1989, the sculpture Charging Bull by Arturo Di Modica was installed at the northern tip of the park by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation after it had been confiscated by the police following its illegal installation on Wall Street.

Fans of "Charging Bull," an outdoor sculpture in Bowling Green, are campaigning to keep the statue from being rustled off to Nevada.

In late December 2010, Olek installed a crocheted suit over "Charging Bull" (1989), a statue on Wall Street, as a tribute to Arturo Di Modica, who installed the sculpture without permission.
