A new superhero called Supernova appears and quickly eclipses Booster in popularity.

The Motley Fool have recently launched an online newsletter called "Supernova" which chooses from David Gardner's 150 or so stock picks and puts them into two portfolios: "Odyssey" for aggressive investors.

As the show's name implies, the new group was to be called Supernova; however, another band named Supernova was granted an injunction against the television supergroup stating that they cannot use the name "Supernova" for any promotion or perform under that name.
