"Every company will have their black friends call us," he said.

"All my black friends here are exchange students from Africa."

But, he adds, regular English wouldn't go over too well with some of his black friends.

Nor would black friends from Atlanta come up for dinner with him, he said.

Her father and some of their black friends suggest they do the same.
