Like Experiment, power transmission from the vertical cylinders was via bell cranks.

The control wheels operate the elevator and ailerons mechanically through a system of cables, pulleys, push-pull tubes and bell cranks.

Instead, they are oriented along the length of the car and are controlled remotely through a series of pushrods and bell cranks.
