Cook for a further 1-2 minutes, then add the stock.
Add the stock and cook over a low heat for another 20-30 minutes.
If it is too tough, add more stock and continue to cook until done.
Then add the stock and bring up to the boil.
To serve the soup hot you might want to add more stock.
If the mixture seems dry, add more stock or water as needed.
Measure and add water or stock to make at least 4 cups.
Add the stock and cook, covered, for an additional 15 minutes.
Cover; cook for 7 to 10 minutes, adding more stock if needed.
Add more stock, a cup at a time, until the rice is almost tender.
