And the workers at Willow Run seem obsessed with the winter of 1989, when everything began to go wrong.
Of the 2,400 people once employed at Willow Run, about 200 are left in jobs maintaining the plant.
The transmission plant next door to Willow Run employs 5,500 people.
In 1956 there were seven commercial passenger carriers operating out of Willow Run.

At its peak, Willow Run produced 650 B-24s per month.

Before Willow Run, she did work two jobs, pumping gas and ringing up groceries.
