One day I would be meeting and greeting visitors from all over the world at the Visitor Entrance and the next I could be issuing audio tour equipment for the State Rooms.

I got great satisfaction when assigned to the Visitor Entrance.

Space is given on a first-come, first-served basis with the line forming at the Visitor Entrance on 14th Street.

This could be at the Visitor Entrance or in The Queen's Gallery or the Royal Mews, or you could be assigned to the Contact Centre, working on the phones, taking internet bookings or allocating tickets.

Visitors arrive at the Visitor Entrance on Buckingham Palace Road, where they are welcomed by members of the Warden team, deposit their bags and collect a complimentary audio tour.

Line up at the Visitor Entrance to the BEP (14th & C Streets, SW).

Tickets for the palace are on sale from the Ticket Office at the Visitor Entrance, Buckingham Palace Rd.

You should enter at the Visitor Entrance on 14th Street.
