Though most freshmen enter the program through Varsity Band, there are no grade restrictions.
He also extended his efforts off the football field by establishing the Varsity Band to play at other sporting events.
The Varsity Band is composed to mostly high school freshmen, but may include older students who are restarting their band process.
Varsity Band recently received its first Division I rating at District 12 MSBOA in about 30 years.
