With this deal, USA Waste continues to be one of the fastest-growing companies in trash-hauling industry, which has been consolidating rapidly.
USA Waste leases about one-third of the property, and the rest is abandoned.
Currently, USA Waste recycles up to 800 tons of paper a day on the property.
USA Waste, the most profitable major company in the industry, had net income of $267 million.
USA Waste, which had revenue of only $10 million six years ago, has been on the most aggressive shopping spree of all.

After the merger, USA Waste will have more than 20 percent of the waste market nationwide.
USA Waste agreed to its largest acquisition, the $675 million purchase of Chambers Development Company, last year.

Just six years ago, USA Waste had revenue of only $10 million.
