Quiroga and Deutsch knew that the torture survivors with whom they had been working needed rehabilitation services and decided to start the Program for Torture Victims.

The Program for Torture Victims (PTV) has developed an integrated, comprehensive approach to rehabilitation.

For the last five months Dean Farisani has been at the Center for Torture Victims in Minneapolis.

He left Wednesday for Minneapolis, where he is to undergo treatment at the Center for Torture Victims.

The Berlin Treatment Center for Torture Victims, founded in 1992, is one of about 40 such clinics established in Europe.

The proceeds went to the Hugo Tempelman Foundation and the Berlin Center for the Treatment of Torture Victims.

The International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims is itself working with some 200 centres around the world.
