Temple Beth-El is a synagogue located in Birmingham, Alabama.

Currently, Temple Beth-El serves approximately 600-700 Jewish families in the Birmingham area.

On April 28, 1958, 54 sticks of dynamite were placed outside Temple Beth-El in a bombing attempt.

And the members of Temple Beth-El were falling over themselves to help.

It was built in 1921 as Temple Beth-El.

Fortunately there was a synagogue across the street, Temple Beth-El, and officials there graciously offered their building.
