He was told that Sergeant Murphy broke his leg in two places but was recovering.
"Sergeant Murphy, what the hell makes you think you're going to have any heavy weapons at all?"
Sergeant Murphy and four accompanying gardai then took the men's names and addresses.
"We're talking to people she was close to," Sergeant Murphy said.
"It was a sick person who did this," Sergeant Murphy said.
