Bombs that killed a Federal judge and a Savannah lawyer last month as well as two others disarmed before exploding were made from the same material, a Federal Bureau of Investigation spokesman here said today.

Two days later a bomb was discovered and disarmed at the Atlanta headquarters of the 11th Circuit and another parcel bomb killed Robert E. Robinson, a Savannah lawyer who had argued civil rights cases.

When efforts to sell the film foundered, he accepted the invitation of a group of Savannah lawyers to start The Gazette.

Examing Possible Racial Motive Federal agents are seeking a racial motive in the four bombing incidents, including the explosions that killed a Federal appellate judge and a Savannah lawyer.

The attacks killed a Judge Robert S. Vance of the Court of Appeals and a Savannah lawyer, Robert E. Robinson.
