To the south are St Cross College and Pusey House, founded in 1884.
In 1889 at Pusey House he had helped found the Christian Social Union.
In 1976 negotiations began between the college and the members of Pusey House over the possibility of moving the college to the St Giles site.
In 1908 Casey became the Librarian for Pusey House, a college of Oxford; and remained there until 1914.
Pusey House commissioned a new mass-setting for its 125th anniversary celebrations from the composer Alexander Campkin.
His private papers are currently in the possession of the Archives of Pusey House, Oxford.
Pusey died in 1882 and Pusey House was established as his memorial.
Then, in 1893 he became Principal of Pusey House.
Following this he was Librarian of Pusey House, Oxford.
In 2003, he became Principal of Pusey House.
