He took 2nd in the 2006 United States Poker Championship and has cashed for over 1.1 million in live tournaments.
His first major win came in January 2004 when he won the Australasian Poker Championship in Melbourne, collecting a first prize of around A$420,000($320,000, £180,000)).
At the 2004 United States Poker Championship, he had a huge chip lead heading into the final table.
In June 2002, he won the second World Heads-Up Poker Championship in Vienna, winning €60,000 grand prize.
