Officer Robinson, who retired on medical disability after the shooting, was not in the courtroom.
Officer Robinson said he has had difficulty trying to put the incident behind him and resume a normal life.
Officer Robinson was found face down almost right at the doorway.
Officer Robinson had been working undercover and was not wearing a badge.
Officer Robinson said last week that he was wearing it on his back.
Police officials said they could not confirm that Officer Robinson was shot in the back.
But the officials confirmed that Officer Robinson was shot several times in the back at close range.
Officer Robinson immediately sent him down to the other officer's hospital room to tell him not to worry.
Officer Robinson's wounds forced him to leave the department.
"A lot of people don't understand police procedure," Officer Robinson said.
