It has lost the nominal affix system characteristic of the Niger-Congo family.
They speak the Saafi language which is part of the Niger-Congo family.
They speak Swahili as their native language, which belongs to the Niger-Congo family.
They are generally included in the Niger-Congo family, though this has not been demonstrated.
Ga is a Kwa language, part of the Niger-Congo family.
It is not closely related to other languages and appears to form its own branch of the Niger-Congo family.
The Pangwa language is a member of the Niger-Congo family.
By way of comparison, the Niger-Congo family is said to have some 1,500 languages.
