"They just thought the best thing to do was forget about it," Ms. Graves said.

"I had never thought of it that way," Ms. Graves said recently.

Ms. Graves commandeered most of the program's first half, but who could complain?

Ms. Graves was the second of three children.

Ms. Graves was mainly concerned with a scene of a van driven over dead bodies.

Ms. Graves noted that $7 million in checks had been received by her office through August.

"There is no right or wrong answer," Ms. Graves said.

"Most of the students who come late move because their parents know they're in trouble at other schools," Ms. Graves said.

"I didn't know teaching was going to be like this," Ms. Graves said.

Ms. Graves found a farmers' market and moved to a nearby area with a more extensive recycling program.
