The Mountain Institute (TMI) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to conservation, community development, and cultural preservation in the Andes, Appalachians, Himalayas, and other mountain ranges of the world.
The Mountain Institute has worked with farmers in the Sacred Himalayan Landscape by teaching them to cultivate medical plants, having trained over 12,500 since 2001.
Ms. Laurence, director of the Mountain Institute of TriBeCa, a feng shui school, said the sharp angle balances a similar one on a building diagonally across the intersection.
