In 1861, the Ministry of Postal Affairs had been merged with the Ministry of the Navy.

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries was merged into the construction and transportation agency.

In 2011 the Ministry of Energy and Water was merged with the Ministry of Oil and Gas.

The Ministry of Disabled and Martyrs was merged with the Ministry of Social Affairs.

It existed from 1889 until 2012, when the Ministry got merged into the larger Ministry of Primary Industries.

The Ministry of Education continued from 1940 to 1991 under orders received from Moscow and was merged with the Educational Committee in 1988.
