The name came about on air after the station had played a promo for Triple J's metal show, Full Metal Racket.
Appeared on Full Metal Racket II, released 2002 on ABC/EMI with 'Success Is Revenge'.
Her review, titled as "Full Metal Racket," noted that "The Incredibles announces the studio's arrival in the vast yet overcrowded Hollywood lot of eardrum-bashing, metal-crunching action sludge."
Double Dragon received airplay on Triple J's Full Metal Racket as well as community radio nationally.
In 2001 he became the host of Triple J's national weekly metal program, "Full Metal Racket".

On 25 July 2006, an announcement was made on the heavy metal radio show Full Metal Racket on Triple J that the festival that year would be the last.
After that he joined the group "Full Metal Racket", who also made a brief appearance on the 98 Warped Tour.
Soon after his tenure began, however, programming reshuffles at Triple J caused the show to be reduced by an hour and was renamed Full Metal Racket.
