Mark Peel is a James Beard Foundation Award-nominated chef, hailing from California.
After returning to Los Angeles in 1995 she spent two years at Mark Peel's celebrated restaurant Campanile ending up as executive chef.
Mark Peel and Nancy Silverton always knew that one restaurant would not provide an economic cushion.
"It was one of my cook's ideas," said the chef and co-owner, Mark Peel, "and she's from New York."
Mark Peel, the chef, and his wife Nancy Silverton, the pastry chef, own both the restaurant and the bakery.
"My mother's been afraid to cook for me for 10 years," said Mark Peel, who owns Campanile in Los Angeles.
She opened these two businesses with her ex-husband Mark Peel.
